Reiki Level One is the first step on your Reiki journey. It is designed for those who feel called to energy healing, whether for personal wellbeing, spiritual development, self healing, or simply a desire to understand and work with energy more consciously. During this training, you will be introduced to the history, principles and foundations of the Reiki system developed by Mikao Usui. You’ll learn how Reiki energy is understood to flow, how it can support balance and wellbeing, and how to incorporate it into your daily life. A key part of Reiki Level One is receiving your Reiki attunement (also known as an initiation). This process is designed to help you connect more fully with Reiki energy and marks the beginning of your practical Reiki journey. Following your attunement, you will learn how to use Reiki for self treatment, helping you develop a regular practice that supports relaxation, grounding, emotional balance and self awareness. You will also learn how Reiki can be shared with family, friends, pets and plants. Reiki Level One is often described as learning to ‘heal the self first’. It provides a foundation for personal practice and self discovery while opening the door to further Reiki training should you wish to continue.
